Description

In some Valtellina vineyards there are native grapes with pink skins, such as Rossola and Pignola, very much appreciated for their particularly refined aromas. Harvested at the right point of ripeness and vinified in white, an ample wine is obtained, with floral and fruity aromas. The grapes are crushed very softly, keeping the must in contact with the skins for a few hours. The must is then left to age for a long time on its own yeasts, while a part ferments directly in barriques. Before bottling the parts are brought together to intensify its harmony and fullness of taste. It is a wine characterised by a delicate aroma, and can be appreciated both young and after 2-3 years of ageing in the bottle.

Conti Sertoli Salis brings the oldest winemaking traditions to the table.
