Chateau Lagrange is located in Saint-Julien on the left bank of the Gironde estuary. The 2015 Chateau Lagrange consists of a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 8% Petit Verdot. Harvest lasted over 22 days, quite long for the region. It casts a dark purple red hue and a nearly black core. On the nose, it has an elegant profile, with dark berries, discreet oak spices and very fine toasted aromas. The palate is full-bodied yet elegant, with ripe tannins, a velvety texture, and a long and fruity finish offered by the bold Cabernet Sauvignon. A powerful and well balanced Saint-Julien with a capacity of aging to 2022-2040

Wine Advocate-Parker :
“Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2015 Lagrange gives up fragrant notes of chocolate-covered cherries, cassis and blackberry pie with touches of violets, forest floor, truffles and cigar box. Medium-bodied with plenty of intense black fruit and firm, grainy tannins, it has a racy line and long, mineral-laced finish.” 93 points
